A Cooler Weather Reminder

Here at Matt’s Pool Service we just want to remind everyone that even though we are approaching the off pool season, it is still critical to keep up on your pool’s maintenance. Although your pool generally uses less chemicals in the off season, you still need to monitor the chemicals closely so the water chemistry doesn’t get away from you which can result in a big problem. Right now with the lower temperatures, it is the perfect time to do water changes and any draining related work on the pool.

Last week we took care of one of our valued customers by doing a full drain so we could replace the “old” water that would no longer hold free chlorine which causes algae blooms easily. While draining the pool, we also did a chlorine wash and a new start up on chemicals. This ensures the pool will stay clean all winter and ready to use come spring/summer next year!
