Cooler Weather in the Valley

Here in the valley, most people look forward to the cooler temperatures that this time of year brings. Unfortunately with this time of year, the pool can become neglected until it heats back up again. Aside from monsoon season, this is one of the most important times to ensure you keep up on your pool maintenance.

When the weather cools and the trees and bushes start to shed their leaves and flowers they can create a problem for home owners with pools. This is because they will start to blow into the pool which can be dangerous as leaves and debris can cause staining on your pool service, clog skimmer baskets which can cause a pump failure, and get into the equipment to cause damage.

Just simply letting leaves sit on your pool surface can cause stains from minerals leaching into the pool plaster or pebble tech. A lot of times things end up in the pool like metals or rocks that can cause rust stains and are very hard to remove. Not taking care of these in a timely manor can result in draining the pool to have an acid wash done which will one, decrease the life of your pool surface over all and two, add a big repair bill that could have been prevented.

Matt’s Pool Services weekly pool cleaning will prevent simple mistakes like these so they don’t cost you big in the end. People like to think pool chemistry or cleaning is easy but time is hard to come by so with Matt’s Pool Services you can let us do it for you that way you can have one less thing to worry about when it comes to taking care of your pool.
